Breakout Track Themes

In addition to the plenary stage program, attendees of IRF Summit 2026 also get to take part in a number of exciting breakout sessions, each with their own theme. The four breakout tracks–Action, Awareness, Accountability, and a track dedicated to training workshops–will run concurrently and are interspersed between other Summit functions, allowing participants to dive deep on their chosen area of interest.

Action

Recognizing positive steps taken to advance religious freedom sends an important message of hope and progress.  By focusing on encouraging developments in legal and political systems, highlighting multi-faith alliances, telling stories of determination and developing the next generation of champions, we can celebrate effective actions, analyze successful interventions, share lessons learned and provide encouragement to those facing challenges.

Awareness

We seek to raise awareness of freedom of religion violations that have been unreported, underreported or overlooked.  By shining a light on regions, practices or trends of concern, we can help strengthen the reach and momentum of the IRF movement.

Accountability

Accountability transforms ideals and moral imperatives into actively enforced, legally binding obligations for governments, societies, and individuals. Beyond merely protecting individuals and belief communities, these powerful safeguards serve as proactive mechanisms that deter would-be persecutors and create unprecedented opportunities for systemic change.

Summit Seminars

We are providing Summit attendees with access to specialized trainings designed to help them advance their religious freedom work.
